Organisations need to consult and engage with employees and these groups need to be well structured and designed so that they can add valuable insights into an organisation and not just operate as a "talking shop". To meet this challenge we created a skills programme for focus group leaders in a University setting. The group leaders had some experience of facilitating groups but needed to find ways of encouraging wider levels of participation. |

The recruitment network was a new project which involved a group of five non competing recruitment consultants/head-hunters who wanted to work together as a business development/mentoring group. We worked with them to design and facilitate their first board meeting. This was an opportunity for them to share their expectations of the network, agree their ground rules and plan how they were going to work together. |
